PCE admixtures · Type A–G

Select a performance direction for your concrete mix. We can tailor a formulation after checking cement compatibility, aggregates, temperature and delivery time.

Find the right performance profile

These Type A–G descriptions are application profiles for product selection. Final product grade, dosage and measured results must be confirmed by the current technical data sheet and trial mix.

TYPE A

Early strength

Supports early strength development while maintaining fluidity.

PerformanceEarly strength focus; setting and workability require trial adjustment.
ApplicationsPrecast elements, rapid formwork turnover and time-sensitive pours.
TYPE B

Balanced workability

Balanced water reduction and handling for general concrete.

PerformanceModerate water reduction; workability adjusted to mix materials.
ApplicationsGeneral ready-mix, slabs and routine structural pours.
TYPE C

High water reduction

Designed for lower water demand and higher flow at a suitable dosage.

PerformanceHigh water-reduction direction; check segregation and setting.
ApplicationsHigh-strength concrete and low water–binder ratio mixes.
TYPE D

Slump retention

Medium water reduction with slump retention and extended working time.

PerformanceMedium water reduction; retention and retardation can be tuned.
ApplicationsReady-mix with longer transport or placement windows.
TYPE E

Extended setting control

Emphasizes placement time and controlled setting in challenging site conditions.

PerformanceRetarding direction; verify early and final setting on site materials.
ApplicationsMass pours, hot-weather placement and extended delivery schedules.
TYPE F

Pumpability

Targets cohesive flow and steady pumping for placement efficiency.

PerformanceWorkability and cohesion focus; assess bleeding and pump pressure.
ApplicationsPumped concrete, dense reinforcement and difficult access.
TYPE G

High reduction + retention

Combines high water reduction, slump retention and extended working time.

PerformanceHigh water-reduction direction; retention and retardation tuned by trials.
ApplicationsHigh-performance ready-mix, longer haul and demanding placements.

Finished admixture lines

SUNRISE MATERIAL (THAILAND) CO., LTD. offers PCE-based solutions. Select the grade after testing with the customer's cement, aggregates and required delivery time.

High water reduction

For mixes seeking lower water demand and flow. Check setting, cohesion and compressive strength in trials.

Reduction + retention

Balances initial water reduction with workability over the agreed transport and placement window.

Long slump retention

For longer delivery or hot-weather placement. Verify setting time and early strength before use.

Current V5F/V5G grades include V5F@310, V5F@330, V5G@3510, V5G@308, V5G@410 and V5G@406. Grade-specific values are provided only with a current data sheet and test report.

Finished concrete admixtures

Four product grades from the company's Thai brochure. Choose a grade through laboratory trials with the actual cement, aggregates, temperature and delivery time.

TYPE D · 507D

Water reduction with set retardation

For concrete needing longer working time in hot conditions or on longer routes. The brochure describes improved flow and reduced mixing water while controlling slump loss.

Brochure guide: 200–500 mL per 100 kg cement · density 1.060–1.10 · pH 6.0–8.0
TYPE A & D · V5A&D

Water reduction and extended setting

A combined water-reducing and retarding grade for concrete in hot weather or difficult placements. The brochure positions it for general ready-mix cost and workability control.

Brochure guide: 300–600 mL per 100 kg cement · density 1.060–1.120 · pH 6.0–8.0
TYPE F · V5F

High water reduction and early strength

High-range water reducer for high-strength and precast concrete. The brochure highlights faster early strength development and applications such as bridges, beams, slabs and dense reinforcement.

Brochure guide: 600–2,000 mL per 100 kg cement · density 1.030–1.060 · pH 6.0–8.0
TYPE G · V5G

High water reduction with set retardation

For mixes requiring strong water reduction and longer workability in hot weather or extended transport. The brochure describes slump-loss control and high-strength concrete applications.

Brochure guide: 600–2,000 mL per 100 kg cement · density 1.030–1.060 · pH 6.0–8.0

PCE raw materials

SUNHAKKA (THAILAND) CO., LTD. supplies PCE mother liquors and blending ingredients. Select grades after checking cement compatibility and the required concrete performance.

SHK-803

High water-reducing PCE mother liquor. The supplied brochure describes a 50% liquid concentrate for formulation trials where water reduction and flow are priorities.

SHK-802

PCE mother liquor combining medium water reduction with slump retention. Check workability during transport and setting time with the customer's materials.

Technical parameters to confirm

Numerical values vary by formulation, cement source, mix design and temperature. Request the grade-specific technical data sheet and test report before setting a specification. Recommended dosage is established through laboratory and site trials.

Liquid properties: appearance, solid content, density, pH and chloride content
Fresh concrete: water reduction, initial slump/flow, retention at agreed intervals, air content and setting time
Hardened concrete: compressive strength at the project ages, including 1, 3, 7 and 28 days where relevant
